There has been much talk lately about possible war between America and China in the South China Sea.
No one has seen fit to mention that both America and China possess nuclear weapons. A "hot" war in the South China Sea between those two is likely to go nuclear.
As an ally of the US, Australia is likely to be involved.
That would be a disaster for all concerned.
Our foreign policy and defence gurus – and our civil defence chiefs – might like to ponder that one.
